Until 17 September, Google Analytics could receive each page’s full address, which on Fold can contain your draft. It has gone. Visits are now counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and is sent the page path only.
The desktop preview said it lands within about 3 characters of LinkedIn’s cut. LinkedIn on the web draws posts in each reader’s own font, so the honest margin is about 12, and the page now says so.
On a narrow screen Fold measured the preview at its shrunk size, and could say a post did not fold when it did. It now measures the real layout: a 195-character post folds at the same place on every screen.
